Accounting for a limited liability company (sp. z o.o.) in Poland

A Polish limited liability company (sp. z o.o.) must keep full accounting records, prepare annual financial statements and file them with the National Court Register. Accounting for a limited liability company in Poland is therefore more demanding than bookkeeping for a sole trader, and mistakes are costly.

My name is Patrycja Szypulska and I run PS Consulting, an online accounting office. We keep full accounting records for limited liability companies, both Polish-owned and foreign-owned, and we provide financial reports that help owners run their business. We work remotely, in Polish and in English.

  • we book the documents you send,
  • we check the invoices you issue,
  • we file tax returns with the authorities,
  • we represent you before the tax office (US) and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).

What does accounting for a limited liability company include?

We provide two kinds of services: accounting and payroll, and financial reporting.

  • Accounting and payroll: full accounting records, HR and payroll handled with full responsibility, for domestic and foreign entities.
  • Financial statements: annual financial statements and reports for the management board and external institutions.
  • Accounting policy: we prepare the accounting policy and adapt the chart of accounts to your business.
  • Takeover during the year: if we take over your books mid-year, we review the accounting and tax records from the beginning of the year.
  • Financial reports: tailored monthly reports that help you decide on the direction of your business.

Is this an accounting app with an accountant on call?

No. With an accounting app you do most of the work yourself and an accountant answers your questions. That option is chosen mainly for its low price. We keep your company's full accounting records, so our team does almost all the bookkeeping work for you, and you can spend your time on growing the business.

Can you help me set up a limited liability company in Poland?

Yes. We help clients set up a limited liability company and then take over its accounting, payroll and financial reporting from the start.

How does working with us look in practice?

  1. Dedicated accountant. You have one contact person, but the whole team knows your company, so urgent matters are handled on every working day.
  2. Remote communication. Online meetings, email, phone and a client portal where you upload all documents.
  3. Tools. Subiekt123 for issuing invoices (we check them) and Portal Biura for uploading documents, with constant access to all your records.
  4. Month-end. We file the returns and send you the tax amounts to pay. The sooner you deliver documents, the sooner we close the month.

Who is responsible for errors?

We are. Besides the mandatory professional liability insurance, we hold additional cover: excess liability insurance for bookkeeping services, liability insurance for certain tax advisory activities and liability insurance for payroll services.

Why do financial reports matter?

An accountant's job is to record your company's transactions as the law requires and to calculate your obligations to the state. A typical accounting office stops there. We also prepare tailored financial reports, filled with current data every month, and you can book individual online consultations with Patrycja Szypulska, a certified accountant and certified internal auditor trained in financial and business analysis, automation and robotisation.

How much does accounting for a limited liability company cost?

The price depends on the scope of services and the number of documents each month. Call or email us and we will prepare an individual offer. See also our price list.
